CS2 Betting on Polymarket — Majors, Maps & Match Markets
How to trade Counter-Strike 2 on Polymarket — match and map markets, Major futures, how thin esports books move, and how to find the sharp CS2 wallets.
Counter-Strike 2 is one of the busiest esports markets on Polymarket, and it spikes hard around the Majors. Match winners, series and championship futures all trade as yes/no shares between 0¢ and 100¢. This guide covers how CS2 markets are built and how to read them — browse the live book on the Counter-Strike odds page.
Match and map markets
The core market is the series winner — “Team X to beat Team Y” in a Bo1 or Bo3. A side at 60¢is the ~60% implied favorite; win and the share settles at $1.00. During a series, prices re-rate map-to-map, and because it's a live market you can sell between maps to lock or cut.
Major futures
Around a Major, a multi-outcome “winner” market prices every team at once, all prices summing to ~100¢ — favorites in the 15–25¢ range, dark horses at a cent or two. These reprice sharply through the group stage and playoffs as teams are eliminated.
Mind the liquidity
Esports books are thinner than NFL or NBA, especially outside the Majors. A thin market moves more on a single large order, so always check the 24h volume before sizing up — and be aware that a lone big fill in a quiet CS2 market can look like conviction when it's really just one wallet. That's exactly why reading who is trading matters here.
Find the sharp CS2 wallets
Esports has its own specialist traders. Premium and the data API
Browsing is free. Polynyx Premium(from $4.99/week) reveals the names, ranks and P&L of every smart wallet on a CS2 series, the model's picks, and all-time esports win rates. Developers can pull the same data from the Polynyx API and MCP server.
Polymarket availability and eligibility depend on your jurisdiction; Polynyx is independent analytics, not a betting operator, and nothing here is financial advice.
