Top Polymarket Traders by PnL (2026)
How to find the top Polymarket traders by profit — ranked by net realized PnL from on-chain trades, by category and time window, with bots filtered out.
“Who are the top Polymarket traders by PnL?” is the first question anyone serious about prediction markets asks — and the answer is harder than it looks. The number on a public profile is easy to inflate, mixes in unrealized mark-to-market, and says nothing about whether the wallet is a genuine sharp or an arbitrage bot churning volume. The honest way to rank traders is to rebuild their profit from the chain.
How Polynyx ranks the top traders
The Polymarket leaderboard ranks 200,000+ wallets by net realized PnL— actual settled profit, recomputed from each wallet's on-chain fills, not the gross figure shown on a profile. Three rules make the ranking trustworthy:
- Net, not gross. We count closed profit and subtract losses, so a trader who won $2M and lost $1.8M ranks on the $200K — not the $2M.
- Rebuilt from trades.PnL comes from on-chain fills, so a wallet can't inflate its number by holding a since-resolved position at a stale mark.
- Bots filtered. Arbitrage and market-maker wallets — huge volume, near-zero margin — are detected and hidden by default, so the board reflects edge, not bankroll.
Rank by category, not just overall
A wallet that's #1 overall might be a politics specialist with no edge in sports. The most useful view is the per-category board: the best Politics, Sports, Crypto and Esportstraders are often completely different wallets. You can also sort by volume or ROI and narrow to a 24h / 7d / 30d window to find who's hot right now.
From the leaderboard to an edge
A ranking is a starting point, not a tip. Open any trader for a full deep-dive — realized PnL curve, open positions, per-category win rate and trade history — then watch what the top wallets are doing in real time on the smart-money tracker.
